The BIG 5-0

Well, it finally came and went- my 5oth birthday. Everyone kept asking me if I was depressed but I'm really not. I feel exactly the same today as I did when I turned 25- except maybe I am happier now! :)Cammi and Marc, Joe and Helen and Ryan surprised me with a dinner party at Goodwood BBQ. I was really surprised to have all my friends and family there- Dallin and Megan, Jeff and Sharon, Alvin and Tye, Gaylun and Karen and Mike and Debbie.The Murrays and Lewis' came at the beginning but had to leave right after I got there except for Tyson who stayed with the party!And last but not least all of the grandkids were there too. I got black ballons, beautiful flowers, canvas pictures that Cammi and Marc made of the grandkids, and gift certificates to the Mall and to Outback. Dinner was yummy and I had alot of fun! Thanks kids for making my birthday great!

The grandkids love their quilts!

My Mom- who is a master quiltmaker- made quilts for her great grandkids. Here is Violet with her purple wedding ring quilt (she looks pretty happy about it!!) and Warrik with his patchwork quilt- of course he is all boy and decided to wear it like a cape! Check out Cammi's blog for a picture of Lila with her quilt (a beautiful Dresdan plate in pink!) and I hear a rumor that a pinwheel quilt is in the works for Miss Chloe.......
