All Star Game

Ryan was chosen to play in the High School Hockey All Star game this year. He was on the South team and they beat the North team 5-4. Ryan made an awesome defensive save at the end of the game which would have tied the game if he hadn't been there. It was a great game! Ryan has also been asked to play on a team that is going to the Chicago Showcase. The team is made up of players from Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.They will play teams from all over the United States. Ryan is loving hockey this year!(Click on picture for larger image)

MATCHBOX TWENTY!!

Last Thursday I went to the Matchbox 20 concert at the E Center (thanks kids- that was my Christmas present last year!) It was so awesome!! They are amazing in concert- they sang for about 2 hours. And Rob Thomas was looking sooooo sexy! I took my friend Randy (his son plays hockey with Ryan) and we both had a good time- even when the guy behind us spilled beer on us.

Maybe Next Year....

In a heartbreaker our Timpanogos Timberwolves lost to the Brighton Bengals in the State Championship game. Our boys played their hearts out but lost 2-1. I told Ryan to be proud that they were able to get so far in the playoffs- they ended up in 2nd place out of 34 teams. I was told that 2nd place is the just the first loser!! I am so proud of our team- we played awesome all season! We will only be losing one senior from our Varsity team so there is always next year.. :)
